Shaimaa Hashem is a Senior Telecommunications Engineer who joined Dar Al-Handasah Consultants (Shair and Partners) in 2006, shortly after graduation from Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. She has major participation in various projects undertaken by the Firm in the Arab Gulf region, the Middle East and Africa, mainly including healthcare facilities, mixed-use complexes, educational developments, mosques, residential compounds, commercial and tourist complexes.
In July 2014, Shaimaa has been certified as a Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) from Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), she was the first to hold this certification in Egypt; in November 2017 she was certified as Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) from the Uptime Institute and in December 2018 she was certified as Registered Communications Distributions Designer (RCDD) from BICSI. Shaimaa is also certificate Project Management Professional (PMP) since August 2012 and LEED Accredited Professional Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C) from the Green Building Certification Institute since October 2013.
