Stephen joined BICSI in 1999 and now is 20+ years an RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer).
Stephen has spent over forty years in Communications and Security. He has worked in many countries around the world for Government, public and private companies in global and local markets. Stephen is a respected Independent Consultant. He is a respected technical authority, backed by experience in complex, large, critical, IT, communications and security projects. Developing working solutions and providing audits plus guidance to deliver workable solutions. Stephen has a good understanding of the commercial issues associated with complex infrastructure projects. Stephen was until recently Vice Chair of the BICSI PCC Committee.
Stephen has been a significant person in the development of national and international standards both from a manufacturer’s representative and as an individual participant in standards creation in CENELEC, BSI, and BICSI.
His project expertise and experience spans across data centres, intelligent buildings, Security Monitoring, Life safety Systems, IT infrastructure, ICT cabling. Over the years he has gained extensive project experience in the financial, rail, airport, security and defence sectors of the market.
Stephen is a member of the ANSI/BICSI Data Centre standard group, Data Centre Subject Matter Expert for the BICSI TI&M committee Member of BICSI Grounding and Bonding standard group, Member of BICSI AV Standard group, Electronic Security and Surveillance Design Standard group and BICSI Standards committee. Stephen also is a Subject Matter Expert and international contributor to the BICSI Design Reference Manuals.
