Garies Chong has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the ICT and Data Center industries, providing integrated solutions to numerous clients across the Asia Pacific region. As the Chief Executive Officer of EMS Group, a global ICT company and a top-ranked ICT solutions provider in Singapore, Garies Chong possesses extensive knowledge and experience in ICT network and wireless infrastructure, smart security, innovative data center liquid cooling and energy efficiency, consulting, design and build for ICT and Data Centre solutions, and project management.
In recognition of his accomplishments, Garies Chong has been conferred the Honorary Master of Engineering by the Global University of Science & Technology (GUST). Additionally, he holds industry credentials and professional certifications, including Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD®), Data Centre Design Consultant (DCDC®), Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM®), and Outside Plant Designer (OSP™) from Building Industry Consulting Service International, Inc (BICSI).
Garies Chong is a judge for DataCloud Asia & Global Awards from BroadGroup, a certified trainer of BICSI Learning Academy, and facilitates and conducts ICT and Data Center courses for Southeast Asia. He is also a Licensed Electrical Worker from the Public Utility Board (PUB) of Singapore. Currently, Garies Chong serves as the BICSI Southeast Asia District Chair, covering Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Guam.
